The courses seem good enough. But Pluralsight seem scared stiff of someone scraping the courses from their website. They run some sort of abuse-of-service detection that will misfire and willy-nilly block you. Then support blames you for scraping, and refuses to tell you what you've done to cause the block. You cannot change your usage behaviour, the same thing happens again, and you're permanently barred. You may well not get your money's worth of tuition from the service.
Great content, served in multiple great platforms

I joined after previewing a 2 hour course, I wanted to take. I do not needed any certifications or to take tests. After paying the money for a subscription and then trying to click on the course, it said I need to upgrade to Premium (in the signup area it said this is for certifications). This course is not a certified course. There is NO way I am paying $45 for a 2 hour course when I can FREE content on video sharing sites (I don't even need to watch advertising on the video sites I use). No Thank You Pluralsight I cancelled my subscription!
Pluralsight is ran by Racists!!! And I'm not talking petty 'something offended me and I'm black so therefore it's RACIST!' type racism. EVERYTHING is based on sterotypes, their commercials flat out call different races 'Lazy' while calling other races 'Genius'. When I say they call difference races lazy or a genius, i LITERALLY mean that, this isn't verbatim but they say racist stuff similar to 'Jimmy a White man is a genius' compared to 'Dwyane a black man, is lazy.' They are not trying to attract business based on their services, they are perpetuating sterotypes to target racists who hate a specific race that will eventually create violence targeted towards these racial groups.

They are good to decent. It does depend on the content. I get access for free, so I could not tell you if it is a value for the money. I had used them as a extra study source for some certifications. Also use them as a means to feel out a new subject or certification I would like to look into. They are not going to be good for everyone. First all the content for teaching is video. If you are hands on or need instructor lead this will not work. You can take exams to test knowledge. I do not know how well this maps to certifications. Only dabbled with the exams. I have not look at any courses yet that were not Computer Science.
Scammers.
Bought 1 month because they have an offer, used the credit card and that month was paid, then the next month I received an automatic payment of 3 times the price of the courses (a month I didn´t even bought).
After contacting them they just told me politely that they stole my money and I have nothing to do about it. I am investigation how to sue them.
If you still decide to buy this, be sure to use paypal with the exact amount of money or you will find surprises.
Do not use this site. Was told it was a good service by obviously paid reviewers. I purchase a subscription and begin taking a class. It’s just not my type of learning. I ask for a refund for the 51 weeks I have left on the subscription; customer service says send a letter and there is not a single employee who handles refund cases. I send the letter, 2 months of nothing. I call and I’m told “we don’t offer refunds”! There are plants of other services out there, do not purchase this one...unless you want your money stolen!
I tried using it on another device and was locked out. BE CAREFUL! The support staff was very rude putting the onus on me like I had put all my login on a billboard and told everyone to use it. They told me that I had two more strikes left and my account will be suspended. Shame on me for wanting to sit on my couch and use my iPad. I still can't access my account. Will not renew.
Terrible Customer Support.
Asked whether they could extend the Trial Period for 1 Week, since I had a very busy week and haven't had the time to watch any video on the platform. Refused to even consider it after several emails back and forth. Wouldn't have been a problem at any other company.
This just shows me as a potential customer that the support team probably won't be supportive after I sign up for a paid plan. I expected nothing and was still utterly disappointed.
Pluralsight is the ultimate learning site I go to.
I just left anything else. Pluralsight is my only choice right now and will be for the foreseeable future. The content is excellent.
There is no better place to learn about technology. Every course i watched since my first subscription (back in 2014) is well made, has agenda, introductions, theory and practice. Take your annual sub right now!
Pluralsight is great, it is very updated and has innovative features that I like, there are paths for different people and needs.
I think just it needs some change
There is not much I cannot find on Pluralsight. It has been my resource for gaining the skills I need to maintain relevance. All the courses I have taken have been relevant, informative, and intuitive which promotes a great learning experience. Would highly recommend this service to anyone that is a self-motivated, eager learner, that wants or needs to gain new skills to keep moving forward in their career.
